More about Stephanie:

My work explores the inner world of women. Through my paintings, I work with both figurative and floral subjects, and create with a bold, vibrant palette to invite the viewer to envision what’s below the surface. I enjoy developing a visual story to express an idea or emotion. You'll often find symbolism in my work that represents the varying human condition. In particular, I focus on the ideas of beauty, spiritual freedom, the fragility of life, and yearning or longing for more.  I have always been a creator of "pretty things." In the past, I painted only for the love of spreading color around a canvas and pleasing the viewer, which was enjoyable, but not personally satisfying. After a brief hiatus from painting, I came back renewed, focused, and more in touch with my own inner voice. It's that voice, that celebrates life, freedom and the strength of women that I am now exploring, and excited to share as an artist.
